Honey Oatmeal Cookies

Honey oatmeal cookies are healthy yet tasty recipe that you can take with tea, coffee or can have this without anything.


  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Cup honey
  • ½ Cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp butter in room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • ½ Cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ Cup oats
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • Some chopped raisins, dates, chocolate chips, chopped nuts (optional)


Step 1

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
2. Grease a cookie sheet.
3. Mix the butter, brown sugar, egg, honey and water thoroughly and whisk it properly.
4. In another bowl, add flour, salt, baking powder and mix it well. Add oats in it and stir everything properly.
5. Now add the oats flour mixture to the egg honey mixture slowly and mix everything properly. Stir it continuously so that any lumps will not occur.
6. You can add chopped nuts or raisins whatever you choose and mix them too.
7. Now drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on the cooking sheet. Do the same process with the rest of the mixture.
8. Bake it for 12 to 15 mins or more. You can check in between.
9. Cool on wire rack.
