Tri colour sweet dishes

The layer of this recipe is mainly made with 3 different types of sweet dishes – Gazar ka Halwa, White Rice Phirni and Peas Phirni arrange in a shot glass. You can use simple Suji ka halwa as a middle layer in which I use White Rice Phirni.

Ingredients

  • 1st Layer:
  • Gazar Ka Halwa:
  • 1 small grated carrot
  • 1 Tbsp ghee
  • 3-4 Tbsp Milk
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar

  • White Rice Phirni:
  • 3 Tbsp Rice powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sugar

  • 1/3 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cashew nuts and raisins
  • 3rd Layer:
  • Peas Phirni:

White Rice Phirni:

2. Now heat 1 cup milk and cook it until it becomes thick or the quantity of the milk will little lower.
3. Remove it from heat and mix the milk and rice powder mixture into it. Stir it continuously.
4. Now, again place it on the heat and cook it on lower heat until rice powder cooked. Remember to stir it continuously otherwise rice will stick on the pan.
5. Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
6. Add cashew nuts and raisins and mix well. Cook until it comes to a thickness of phirni.
7. Phirni is ready. Now keep it aside.

Step 3

3rd Layer :
Peas Phirni:
1. Heat ghee in a pan.
2. Now add smashed peas and cook it for 5-8 mins.
3. Now add 3 Tbsp milk on the pan and mix well. Cook 2-3 mins and add sugar and cardamom powder.
4. Mix well and cook for another 1-2 mins. Remove from heat and add pistachios.

Step 4

Prepare the Shot Glass in a Tri Colour Way:
1. Now in a shot glass first pour a portion of the Peas phirni. After that add a portion of white rice phirni and then top the glass with a portion of gazar ka halwa. Garnish it with green cardamom.

Note: As I told before, you can use Sooji ka halwa instead of White rice phirni to make the middle layer.
