All the mothers have the same query and concern as to what should they cooking for their little one. It is important to feed the little ones with healthy and nutritional food that they enjoy while eating. Distracting the kids with the help of gadgets while feeding them is not a good option as this will make the food of no interest for the child and the child will also never learn to eat. From the age of 0ne to three it is important that the child is introduced to different types and textures of healthy nutritional food.

This will help in the overall growth and development of the child. The early years the child should be fed with protein, carbs, vitamins, fats, minerals, and other micro nutrients all in balanced formula to help the child grow. Along with body development there is need for the brain development also and thus it requires a healthy balanced meal that is prepared in safe and hygienic conditions with the best quality ingredients. As a mother here are few of the most trusted recipes that I prepare for my kids and they totally relish it. The best point is that they eat their meals without any distraction or using gadgets.

Breakfast: for breakfast I prefer that they get the goodness of milk, dry fruits, fat (ghee), and carbs (suji) all in a meal and thus I prepare suji halwa for them. It fills the stomach and makes a great breakfast option.

Suji halwa:

Ingredients-

1tsp Ghee
½ cup milk
1 tbsp. dry fruits- crushed kaju, pista, badam
Suji- 1.5 spoon
Sugar- as per taste
Process: in a pan heat ghee then add the suji, sauté it till it changes the color. Add milk to it and let it boil after it boils add milk to it. Put sugar as per taste and when it thickens switch off the flame.

Lunch: for lunch I prefer to make them eat wheat and in a day I see to it they eat paneer in any format so the best option is paneer parantha that I make with whole wheat and ghee.

Paneer parantha:

Ingedients:
½ cup cottage cheese grated

Salt as per taste
Whole-wheat dough
Process: in the roti dough stuff the cottage cheese mixture and roll it properly. Then on low flame roast it on a pan using ghee. Garnish it with sauce in pattern of smiling face.

Fruit shake:

for evening snack I prefer giving them fruits shake so as to help them enjoy something cool for summers and yet make it nutritional.

Ingredients:

Chopped 1 banana
Chopped ½ apple
½ cup milk
elaichi for flavor

Mixed vegetables (chopped onion, tomato, carrot, lauki, peas, beans)
