Tri-colour Sandwich

Tri Colour Sandwich is a 3 layered sandwich with paneer, carrots, mayonnaise, mint chutney or capsicum. Know about the recipe here.

Ingredients

  • 1st Layer:
  • ½ cup Grated carrot
  • 1 -2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp chaat masala powder
  • 1 brown bread cut diagonally
  • 2nd Layer:
  • ½ cup grated paneer or cheese
  • 1-2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • salt as per taste
  • ½ tsp chaat masala powder
  • 3rd Layer:
  • 1 brown bread cut diagonally
  • ½ Cup grated capsicum
  • 1-2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • salt to taste
  • OR
  • Grated Paneer
  • Mint Chutney

Method

Step 1

1st / Orange Layer:
1. Butter the bread slices and cut diagonally.
2. Take a bowl and add grated carrot , mayonnaise, chaat masala powder & salt. Mix everything well.
3. Now make the layer with the carrot mixture between the 2 bread slices.

Step 2

Middle Layer/ White Layer:
Add Paneer and Mayonnaise in a bowl and mix it well. You can sprinkle some chaat masala powder to make it tasty.

Step 3

3rd Layer/Green Layer:
You can make this in 2 different ways.
Either:
Add grated capsicum, mayonnaise and salt in a bowl and add the mixture between the 2 bread slices to make the green layer.
OR:
You can add mint chutney, grated paneer and salt in a bowl and mix it well to make the green layer.

Now, place the green layer bread slices first. Add butter on the top of the slice. Now add mayonnaise with grated paneer mixture to make the white layer. On top place the orange layer bread slices.
Your Tri Colour Sandwich is ready to serve with tomato ketchup. You can make more sandwiches in the same process.
