Review of YETI Haauz Khaas
One of my greatest culinary experiences has been when I visited Yeti – The Himalayan Kitchen at Hauz Khas village, Delhi for the first time. After that it turned into one my favourite place in Delhi where I used to go several times. However, I am right now not in Delhi but miss that place a lot. All I can tell you in short is that the place is really amazing and the ambience is great. You will feel like that you have come to a different shade of Delhi which is the combination of great food, lovely music, different types of peoples in a pleasant atmosphere.
Tucked in a cozy corner of Hauz Khas Village, you actually shift into a different world as soon as you enter the restaurant. You actually get transferred to a mysterious Himalayan terrain with the abominable snowman (The Yeti) keeping a watch at you from a distance.
The restaurant offers several types of cuisines encircling the Himalayas, like Tibetan, Bhutanese, Nepali cuisine and many more. Basically it is a place where I could experiment with the food as I just loved everything. If you are looking for a twist from your regular daily life, this would be the right place then which would definitely not disappoint you in any way especially when you are non vegetarian and chicken lover. However, my all time favourite is Tibetan dish which I love to prefer in this place.
Every time I visit the place either with friends or my husband, I used to order atleast 1 or 2 new dishes that I have not tasted from their menu and I must say that every time while experiment the new dish, I invented a new delight. We ordered SEKUWA (Chargrilled mutton pieces), KHASI KO LEDO (Spicy mutton curry) both of which were lipsmacking.
A great thumbs up to this diverse cuisine restaurant in the heart of Delhi
