Ingredients
- 1 large size scrapped coconut
- 400 gram Date Palm Jaggery or Gur
Method
Step 1
1. Take a large bowl and mixed all together the scraped coconut and gur. Mix the ingredients by your hand. 2. Now pour it in a pan/kadai and place it on low heat. Stir it continuously so that it will not stick to the pan. 3. Keep on cooking for more still the jiggery well incorporated to the coconut. 4. When the coconut will automatically come out from the pan or kadai and not stick to it, then immediatey remove it from the heat and spread it on the plate. 5. Thaw or mashed it with the back of the half coconut cover so that it will be light brown in colour to look yummier. 6. Now take small portion of coconut mixture in your palm to make a shape of ball. Repeat the process with the rest of the coconut mixture. You need to be careful that the mixture should be hot as if it will get cool, then it will be harden and you will not be able to give the ball shape. So, your Gurer Narkel Naru is ready.
