Enjoyed the Taste of Delicious Street Foods at National Street Food Festival Delhi 2016 with Friends

What could be more awesome feeling than filling your craving mouth with Yummy Street Foods and that too with your Best Friends. Street Food festival delhi 2016 was arranged by NASVI (National Association of Street Vendors of India) in collaboration with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) & Project Clean Street Food on 23rd to 25th December hosted amazing 3 days event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium having 300 distinct cuisines from 25 states of India.

The Visitors had various options to taste such as Bhel Puri, Pani Puri, Moong Dal Laddu,  Imartis, Litti Chokha, Idli Vadas, Chole Bhature, Banarasi Paan etc.

The most important point that i experienced at the event was that each and every street food was quality checked, although the price was high but the taste was really superb and preparation method was quite clean and hygienic.  I can proudly say that Yes FSSAI & Project Clean Street Food had kept their promise of serving clean and tasty street foods to Delhiites. All the vendors were wearing the apron promoting Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana along with gloves in order to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness.

2. Soya Chaap
3. Chicken 65
4. Pav Bhaji
5. Gol Gappe

Special attraction of the event was the presence of Cooking King Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Kunal Kapur. The two cooking experts cooked some street foods at the event and also shared few tips with the people.

Apart from Popular Indian Street Foods there were lots of things to explore at NSFF Viz. performance by Ocean Band, Rock Band, Magic Shows for kids, competitions for kids & women, funny selfie, dance, singing events, awareness program on organ donation, nutrition & healthy diets.

Children shown a separate glimpse of their innocence at the fest. You could easily spot little children playing, dancing and eating yumm food. The special arrangements were done for entertaining children like Magic Shows, Puppet shows, santa claus, inflatable bouncing house, toys stores, remote cars, jeeps, bikes.

The event was mostly #Cashless, as all the ticket bookings for entry were done online through Bookmyshow, Paytm and using Debit / Credit Cards. For eating delicious foods you had to buy coupons by paying through Paytm, Cash or Cards. There were many E-Corners at every short distance to collect coupons to enjoy food in fest. Also the place had rest rooms for the tired visitors and Ambulance for the emergency condition.

Although the social media has a mixed review on the event, somebody liked it and somebody didn’t certainly depends on the personal experience.

But All i can say is that the 8th National Street Food Festival was a nice event where everybody had Tasty street foods and full 2 masti.
