Its that time of the year again. Time to shop, get dressed up in winter clothes, cheer with Santa and eat good food. Coming to food, it does not only taste good but it also looks all cute when it comes to Christmas decoration with such food items. Explore some of my small and easy to create Christmas decorating ideas with foods that will definitely make your kids love to eat such recipes as well as the decorating items too.

 

So what are you waiting for? Get creative in this Christmas with some of these pretty decorating ideas that will definitely make your decoration stand out from the crowd of Christmas.

So let’s start with Christmas food decoration first where you can easily ask your kids to try such things so that they can also feel as a part of this festive season.

 

Santa Clause: Use strawberries and white whipped cream to make Santa Clause. Cut the strawberry from the middle end and then add the whipped cream in between and in the top make the Santa hat with the rest half of the strawberry.

 

 

Snowman: Make the Snowman with boiled eggs. Add the 2 boiled eggs with toothpick and make the lips with carrots, eye with mustard seeds and a bow with coriander leaves with stem. You can also make Snowman ha with carrot slices too.

You can also make snowman with ginger bread cookies and white cream decoration. Adding to cookies and place the cream in top will give the look of the snowman.

Wreath: Wreath you can make with different food items. Here I tried it with olives and tomato as bow. You can also place strawberries in between to make the wreath decorated.

You can also make the wreath with simple donut too.

 

Stockings: Here I made the stocking with apple and cream. Cut the apples with stocking shape and put cream cheese on the top. You can also make it with hot dog in the same cutting process.

Christmas tree: Now it comes to the X-Mas tree. It is the main part of the Christmas decoration which you can do with anything either with cookies or fruits or any other food items. I tried to make the tree with Cucumber slices and to look it decorated; I place some pomegranate seeds in between. Hope it will give a X-Mas decorated tree looks.

 

Christmas Menu or Food Items:

Now, decoration with food is complete, it is turn to make some Christmas recipes. Cake and cookies is the main recipe of Christmas. But it is not always necessary that you have to take the Fruit Rum cake or Ginger bread cookies, you can make different flavoured cake or cookies with different flavour and decorations too. Like, you can make Santa clause or snow man on the cookies, colourful or chocolate flavoured cakes too as we all know Christmas is a colourful festival with lots of celebrations.

Cakes like colourful home baked Choco Strawberry Delight, Blueberry cakes, Fruit cake, Kitty fruity cakes and Chocolate Cakes, all are tasty and yummy or if you are talking about cookies, not only Ginger cookies are popular but Honey Oatmeal cookies are also as tasty and healthy too. You can also make chocolate dry fruit balls which would definitely love by your kids.
