Makar Sankranti or Poush Sankranti is a Hindu festival which is celebrated all over the India. It is also a harvest festival mostly celebrated in 14th – 15th January every year.

Makar Sankranti is also known as Poush Sankranti, Pongal, Lohri and Khichadi is different state of India. This is a famous festival celebrated with sweets and kite flying.
